As a digital nomad, I am. I have been experiencing poor internet access lately. Things got so bad this time—I travel a lot and visit a lot of lonely and remote locations around the United States—that I was without internet access for about a week.
What do you know? One of my clients left me. At that point, I made the decision to resolve this problem permanently. I used various online forums, questioned my friends, and conducted searches on the internet. Nomad Internet was recommended to me by a friend.
I was first really dubious of this internet-providing firm since all I noticed when I looked for them on Google was one bad review. However, after doing some further investigation, I discovered a tonne of positive reviews.
After doing so much reading and research, I said, what the heck, let's give it a shot. See what transpires. I thus placed an online order for their Wi-Fi modem from their website.
The fact that they provide Nomad Air Modems—specialized Wi-Fi modems—to digital nomads shocked me. The modem cost me $249.95, and I also paid $149.95 a month for a 200 mb/s Wi-Fi internet subscription.
My Wi-Fi modem arrived the very next day, and the service was rather quick. Because the firm offers a self-installation capability, installation was simple.
However, the magic I had been anticipating had not yet materialized. The moment I established a Wi-Fi modem connection, everything was shooting. The internet speed lived up to expectations. There was also Wi-Fi 6 technology present.
Furthermore, it retained the capacity to maintain a connection with up to 128 devices.
And what do you know? I deliberately traveled to test it at the isolated location where I initially had trouble connecting to the internet for a continuous seven days. The outcomes are astounding.
Not only was I able to access the internet using the modem, but it was also operating at a fast pace.
I was not able to ask for more.
Therefore, I would have just told them to go ahead and do it if someone had asked me to review the Wi-Fi modems from Nomad Internet.
Additionally, to the individuals who have been critical of their customer service online (I saw someone. I have no idea if it's phony or not. Because I don't trust internet reviews these days, I also spoke with their customer support in case something goes wrong later. They provided me with support and answers right away.
Thus, in my perspective, everything about Nomad Internet is ideal.
